Covering – The window -by L. Cohen

Joshua “Tullie” Alford passed away recently. Most of anyone who reads this might know Josh. Maybe not though.
I just wanted to write something here, in the hopes that maybe y’all will find his songs out there on soundcloud or else where. He wrote some great songs and hopefully other people will find them as well.
Joshua used to front a band called High Hawk in Chicago. Later on, we played a good show or two with Joshua and had some fine times hanging out and talking music and dreams. Josh was a natural onstage and a true one of a kind.
Although we never got super close, I knew Josh as a friend and respected him. I was always attracted to his mix of wild, charm, and sincerity. Could see it in his dancing and hear it in his songs. Glad Ryan Boyles introduced us years back. Very sad to hear of his untimely passing.
Here’s to you Joshua. Rest in peace brother. See you on the other side.
